Opposite Kings Cross Station, Alhambra Hotel provides clean, budget-friendly accommodations with a family-run atmosphere and free WiFi throughout the property. Most rooms feature central heating, carpeted floors, flat-screen TVs, and compact en suite bathrooms, with some including hairdryers and reading lights. A free home-cooked or continental breakfast is served each morning at Alhambra Hotel, featuring fresh lean bacon and a selection of pastries, yogurt, and juices. The hotel is a three-minute walk from King's Cross station, offering easy access to Covent Garden via the London Underground and a 20-minute walk to the British Museum. Guests can use the shared computer nook in the lobby or explore nearby dining options like The Gilbert Scott, just 0.5 km away. The property's elegant white facade and attentive service, managed by the same family for nearly 40 years, complement its quiet location on a side street near Euston Road.

Pros

The hotel is a three-minute walk from King's Cross station, providing direct access to Eurostar services and the London Underground.

Free home-cooked or continental breakfast includes fresh lean bacon and a variety of pastries and beverages.

Rooms feature unusually fluffy pillows, bright reading lights, and complimentary WiFi.

Cons

Some rooms lack en suite bathrooms, with shared facilities located on the same floor.

The compact design of rooms may feel cramped for guests with large luggage.

“In my opinion, this is a strategically located gem near Kings Cross, ideal for city travel and airport access. I appreciate the exceptionally clean rooms and the secure environment, providing peace of mind. The friendly staff enhances the experience, and the value aligns well with its prime location.”
